As work evolved, the assumptions behind traditional assessment systems broke down. Skills became fluid, roles less defined, and signals increasingly noisy. The acceleration of AI exposed these structural weaknesses.
In 2025, we paused to reassess the problem at a systems level. Continued engagement with enterprise partners made the gap clear: existing models were built for stability, while the environment had become dynamic.
We are restarting igauge to address this mismatch deliberately, with a focus on research, rigor, and durable system design.
